Dr. Stan Toler Elected District
Superintendent
On Thursday morning
of the 2009 Southwest Oklahoma District Assembly (June 4th) Dr.
Stan Toler was elected as the new District Superintendent. With General Superintendent Jesse C.
Middendorf presiding, Dr. Toler was elected on the third ballot on June 4, 2009,
to be effective in approximately 30 days.
Currently Stan
serves as the pastor of our OKC Trinity Church of the Nazarene and has
traveled the globe teaching seminars on leadership and stewardship. He was the guest speaker for our recent
SDMI Convention where he taught principles on the Power of One. He has written over 70 books including his best-sellers, God Has Never Failed Me, But He's Sure
Scared Me to Death a Few Times; The Buzzards Are Circling, But God's Not
Finished With Me Yet; Gods Never Late, He's Seldom Early, He's Always
Right on Time; The Secret Blend; Practical Guide to Pastoral
Ministry; Total Quality Life, and his popular Minute Motivator
series. His latest book, ReThink Your Life, debuted at No. 23 on the CBA
Christian Living Best Sellers list.
Dr. Toler has been serving on various district boards, including the
Advisory Board, Ministerial Credentials Board and the Salyer Lake Conference
& Retreat Board. He has a deep
love for the district and Salyer Lake and will continue the vision for the
spread of the gospel among the SWO people.
Stan & Linda live in the Oklahoma City area and have been blessed with 2
